Can you furnish proof of your eligibility to work in the United States? what does it mean ? - what states recognize south dakotas ccw license

I am a graduate living in Chennai, India. When I tried to apply for a job abroad, I came across this question. "Can you prove your eligibility to work in the United States?" What do you mean? H1B visa or to submit a certificate stating that I am authorized to work

They want to see proof of permanent residency or proof of visa. No to sponsor. You have the right to reside and work in the United States.

You must be able to provide proof of permanent residence (green card or I-151), not (apply for a work visa for a student visa) or proof of U.S. citizenship (driver's license and social security card).

They prefer to set no illegal alien or someone who needs sponsorship for visa.

(Do I suspect you're talking about jobs in the United States)
